Mee Seva మీసేవ Mobile App 150 Services at Your Fingertips

Mee Seva, a transformative initiative by the government, is revolutionizing access to citizen services. By introducing a dedicated mobile app and setting up interactive kiosks in busy locations, Mee Seva is bridging the gap between governance and citizens, ensuring seamless access to over 150 types of essential services. Here’s a detailed look at this game-changing platform and its associated projects.

Mee Seva Mobile App: Empowering Citizens Anytime, Anywhere

To bring government services closer to the people, the IT department has developed the Mee Seva Mobile App. This app provides users with access to 150 different citizen services directly from their smartphones. From applying for certificates to making payments and printing essential documents, the app makes everything easy and accessible from the comfort of one’s home.

Interactive Kiosks for Enhanced Accessibility

For those who prefer physical interaction, the government has also set up interactive kiosks in high-traffic areas such as shopping malls, metro stations, and integrated collectorates. These kiosks allow users to:

  • Submit applications effortlessly.
  • Make online payments securely.
  • Print official certificates conveniently.

Expanding Digital Connectivity: The T-Fiber Project

In tandem with the Mee Seva initiative, the government has launched the T-Fiber Project to enhance internet connectivity across rural regions. This project aims to provide broadband services to:

  • Government schools.
  • Over 30,000 government offices in its first phase.

As a pilot, the T-Fiber Project will initially roll out in three villages: Adavi Srirampur (Peddapalli), Sangupeta (Sangareddy), and Maddur (Narayanapet). Each village will benefit from broadband internet bundled with cable TV services, reaching nearly 4,000 families. To inaugurate this, video conferencing sessions with local panchayats and families have been planned.

Public-Private Partnerships: A Boost to Investments

The IT department has successfully secured investments worth ₹7,592 crore from four major industries: Azad Engineering, Premier Energies, Global Environment Premier Energies, and Lenskart. These partnerships promise to create 5,200 new jobs while accelerating the region’s industrial growth.

Empowering Women Through Digital Literacy: Project Sanmati

The government is also focusing on empowering rural women with Project Sanmati. This initiative aims to:

  • Improve digital literacy among women from low-income groups.
  • Provide livelihood opportunities through skill development.

Initially, the project will launch in the Mahabubabad and Mulugu districts, with plans to expand across the state.

Advanced Solutions for Agriculture and Security

AdEx for Farmers

The government has introduced the Agriculture Data Exchange (AdEx) to address challenges in the agriculture sector. Using this platform, small and marginal farmers can access loans of up to ₹1 lakh, supported by partnerships with financial institutions like HDFC.

T-Works and CReNSE

To strengthen national security research, a partnership has been established between T-Works and BITS Pilani’s Centre for Research in National Security Excellence (CReNSE). This collaboration aims to drive innovation and self-reliance in security technologies.

Innovative Anti-Drug Measures with TGnAB App

To curb drug abuse among students, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGnAB), in collaboration with the IT department, has launched a unique WhatsApp-based chatbot app. This application:

  • Assesses students’ mental health and behavioral patterns.
  • Provides training sessions for teachers and students across 1,000 schools in Hyderabad.

New Services to Simplify Citizen Life

Mee Seva continues to expand its range of services to cater to diverse needs. Recently added offerings include:

  • Booking government tourism hotels and packages.
  • Issuing ID cards for differently-abled individuals.
  • Monitoring welfare cases for senior citizens.
  • Providing forest department assistance for wildlife-related issues.
  • Renewing permits for timber depots and mills.
  • Approving tree felling and relocation under the WALTA Act.

Conclusion

Mee Seva is not just a service; it’s a paradigm shift in citizen-centric governance.
