FIR Filed Against BRS MLA Harish Rao’s Relatives for Trespassing and Cheating in Miyapur

In a significant legal development, an FIR has been registered against several individuals related to BRS MLA Harish Rao, accusing them of trespassing and cheating. The case, filed at the Miyapur Police Station, names Thanniru Gowtham, Boinapally Venkateshwar Rao, Gone Raj Kumar Goud, Garapati Naga Ravi, Jamapanna Prabhavati, and Tanniru Padmaja Rao.

Illegal Occupation of Property in Miyapur

The accused have been charged with unlawfully occupying a five-floor property owned by Dandu Latchi Raju. The complaint, lodged by Chitti Babu, alleges that the accused were residing in the property without the owner’s consent. The property in question is located in Miyapur, Hyderabad, and has become the center of a dispute involving unauthorized occupation and potential forgery.

Allegations of Property Forgery

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly sold the property without notifying the rightful owner, Dandu Latchi Raju. This sale was reportedly facilitated through forged documents, leading to a case of fraud being registered against them. Chitti Babu, the petitioner, claims that he was unaware of the illegal transaction until it had already been carried out.

Legal Proceedings and Ownership Dispute

The legal battle revolves around the ownership of a prime plot of land situated in Miyapur. Dandu Latchi Raju had been in possession of the land since its purchase in 1980 through a registered sale deed. However, the dispute began when the accused, who have familial ties to MLA Harish Rao, allegedly initiated the sale of the property without Raju’s authorization.

Court documents reveal that the property was originally intended for the construction of a multi-story residential building, with Raju having obtained the necessary permits in collaboration with another individual, Smt. J. Prabhavathi. The two had jointly acquired building permits for constructing a 45-story complex, but the partnership soured after the accused allegedly took control of the property.

Accusations of Loan Fraud

In addition to the allegations of forgery, there are also claims of fraudulent activities involving housing loans. It is alleged that the original sale deed was handed over to Smt. J. Prabhavathi and her husband to facilitate the loan process for the construction of the residential complex. However, once the loan was processed, the accused reportedly took further steps to sell the property without informing the rightful owner.

The petitioner, Chitti Babu, argues that the accused conspired to defraud Dandu Latchi Raju of his property and facilitated the construction project by using false documents. The accused allegedly coordinated with contractors and architects to proceed with the building work without Raju’s knowledge or consent.

Construction and Mismanagement Allegations

The construction of the building was overseen by late J. Janaki Rama Rao, the husband of Smt. J. Prabhavathi. According to the FIR, he played a key role in managing the construction process, including obtaining necessary permissions. However, the petition claims that while the construction was ongoing, the accused forced Raju into signing a contract with another firm, Arching Designers, for the completion of the building.

This agreement, signed on December 27, 2017, is said to have been forced upon Raju under duress. The agreement allegedly resulted in financial mismanagement, with the accused benefiting from a sum of Rs. 10 crore. Raju was reportedly left to bear the brunt of the construction costs while the accused pocketed large amounts of money under the guise of project management fees.

Ongoing Investigation and Legal Action

As of now, the investigation is underway, and legal proceedings have been initiated to determine the full extent of the alleged fraud. The Miyapur Police Station has filed charges against the accused under sections related to trespassing, cheating, and forgery. The police are also examining the authenticity of the documents used in the illegal sale of the property and investigating the role of each accused party.

In light of the ongoing legal dispute, Chitti Babu has demanded swift action against those involved. The case has garnered significant attention due to the involvement of relatives of a prominent political figure, MLA Harish Rao. The outcome of the investigation is awaited, and the legal proceedings will determine the fate of the disputed property and the individuals involved in the alleged fraud.

Conclusion

The case against the relatives of BRS MLA Harish Rao highlights the growing issue of property disputes and illegal sales in Hyderabad. With allegations of forgery, trespassing, and loan fraud, the legal battle over the Miyapur property continues to unfold. As the investigation progresses, the court will ultimately decide the outcome of this high-profile case, with significant implications for all parties involved
