Implementation and Challenges

CM Revanth Reddy inquired about the time required to conduct elections based on the approved caste census. Officials explained that the 2011 census format, with its 53 columns, could be adapted by adding three more columns for caste enumeration, requiring at least five and a half months to complete.

Former Minister Jana Reddy provided insights on the methodologies followed during panchayat elections in the undivided state and discussed Supreme Court cases and judgments related to BC reservations in local body elections in various states.
