The northern part spans 158 kilometers, connecting key areas like Sangareddy, Narsapur, and Bhongir. The southern section covers 182 kilometers, linking Choutuppal, Chevella, and Shankarpally among others. Impact of Delays and Cost Escalation Originally estimated at Rs 9,164 crore, delays in land acquisition and project execution have pushed the expected cost to Rs 15,000 crore. Factors contributing to this escalation include increased land prices, higher material costs, and expenses related to relocating utilities. Efforts and Progress Efforts to expedite the project intensified under the current administration led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Despite setbacks during the election period earlier in the year, significant strides have been made in land acquisition, with 75% of the required 1,935 hectares already in process. Phone Tapping Scandal: Key Technical Evidence Collected by SIT The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has gathered crucial technical evidence related to the illegal phone tapping activities conducted by the Special Intelligence Branch (SIB). The SIT's ongoing investigation is revealing more about this unlawful operation, shedding light on the methods and technology used. Crucial Evidence from Convergence Innovation Labs During a recent raid at the Convergence Innovation Labs office in Kondapur, Hyderabad, the SIT seized three servers, hard disks, and five mock mini devices. This laboratory provided the technology used for phone tapping to the SIB. To further their investigation, the SIT issued notices to the director of the lab, Busi Paul Ravikumar, to obtain access logs and search logs. The evidence collected has been pivotal, and testimonies from Ravikumar, senior manager Ragi Anantachari, and software engineer Oleti Sitarama Srinivas have provided significant insights.
