orders were issued for payment of enhanced compensation of cash, relief and other rehabilitation measures for various offences committed by the members belonging to the castes other than Scheduled Castes & the Scheduled Tribes under the relevant sections of Scheduled Castes & the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
Collector & District Magistrate, Nizamabad has requested the Government to clarify the quantum of relief to the victim is entitled and is there any cap limit on damages and the mode of payment to victim i.e, in one lump sum or stage wise at FIR/Charge sheet/conviction and communicate suitable guidelines in the matter.
Director, SCD, TS, Hyderabad has requested the Government to issue necessary orders for formalization of guidelines on the implementation of norms at Sl.No.46 & Sl.No.47 of the G.O.Ms.No.29, SCD(POA.A1) Department, dated:03.08.2016 in order to implement the provisions and relief & rehabilitation measures in right earnest.
Government, after careful examination, have decided and hereby order to formalize the following guidelines for implementing the provisions of additional relief by enhanced compensation of cash relief & rehabilitation measures of Sl.No.46 & Sl.No.47 of the G.O.Ms.No.29, SCD(POA.A1) Department, dated:03.08.2016 is as follows:
