Modus Operandi: Exploiting Part-Time Job Seekers The perpetrators targeted job seekers through the Telegram app, where they posed as recruiters offering part-time employment. They lured victims into clicking on links, liking posts, and providing international company reviews, among other tasks. Once individuals were ensnared into these jobs, they were asked to deposit a certain amount of money. The promise of lucrative part-time work coerced victims into handing over substantial sums, with some losing up to ₹9 lakhs. Telangana State
