Hyderabad Metro Rail Extends Operations by 45 Minutes: Enhanced Convenience for Commuters The Hyderabad Metro Rail, a rapid transit system serving the bustling city of Hyderabad, India, has announced an extension in its operational hours. Commuters can rejoice as the metro will now operate for an additional 45 minutes past midnight, providing greater flexibility for travel. This news was unveiled during the 10th Green Annual Facility Management (FM) Summit 2024 held in Hyderabad. Mr. Murali Varadarajan, Chief Strategy Officer of L & T Metro Rail (Hyderabad), highlighted this development in his keynote address. Previously, the Hyderabad Metro operated from 6:00 AM to 11:59 PM. With this extension, commuters can now avail metro services until 12:45 AM, offering a welcome convenience for those working late hours or seeking travel options during the early hours of the morning. The announcement also included an earlier start time on Mondays. Beginning on May 20th, 2024, the Hyderabad Metro will commence operations at 5:30 AM on Mondays, catering to the specific needs of weekday commuters. Telangana State
