Eligibility Criteria for Gruha Jyothi Scheme To qualify for the Gruha Jyothi scheme, certain conditions must be met: Average Electricity Consumption: The household's monthly electricity consumption should not exceed 200 units to be eligible for the scheme. Aadhaar Card and Ration Card Linkage: Ensure that your Aadhaar card is linked with your ration card. Aadhaar-Phone Number Linkage: Additionally, your Aadhaar card must be linked to your phone number. Single Connection Per Family: Remember, the scheme is applicable for only one connection per family unit. Unique Service Connection Number (USC): Provide the Unique Service Connection Number (USC) in the Public Administration Application. 12-Month Average Consumption: The average consumption for the preceding 12 months, from January 2022 to December 2023, will be assessed. Only households with an average consumption of less than 200 units during this period will be considered eligible. Current Month's Consumption: Ensure that the current month's electricity consumption also falls below 200 units. No Pending Dues: There should be no outstanding dues from previous billing cycles.
