The award ceremony saw the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including former Chief Justice of India Uday U. Lalit and former Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Ritu Raj Awasthi.

Out of 778 submissions, Hyderabad Metro emerged victorious, a testament to their exceptional safety standards. The award was accepted by K.V.B. Reddy, MD and CEO of L&TMRHL, accompanied by COO Sudhir Chiplunkar.

At the Institute of Directors (IOD’s) 25th International Conference on Environment Management and Climate Change, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd. (L&TMRHL) was honored with the Golden Peacock Award in the Transportation (Railways) category for excellence in occupational health and safety (GPOHSA). This recognition underscores the tireless efforts of the entire Hyderabad Metro team in prioritizing a safe and healthy work environment.
