The Commissioner, PR&RD, AP, Guntur, has forwarded the proposal to the Government for bifurcation of Samireddipalli Gram Panchayat and to constitute as a new Gram Panchayat, New gram Panchayat list Andhra Pradesh 2020 based on the report of the District Collector, of the District.
In the Memo 4th read above, the Commissioner, PR&RD, AP, Guntur, is authorized to issue show cause notices to the respective functionaries of all Gram Panchayats of various Districts in the State, to be considered for bifurcation and re-organization and also amalgamation / merging and obtain their explanation / objections if any on this issue and submit a report along with his remarks to Government.
Commissioner, PR&RD, AP, Guntur has stated that the District Panchayat Officer, District has submitted a report stating that the Grama Sabha conducted in Samireddipalli Gram Panchayat and resolved that they have no objection to bifurcate Samireddipalli Gram Panchayat and to constitute Ugranampalli village as a new Gram Panchayat and requested to issue further orders in the matter.
The Government, keeping in view of the Resolution passed by the Samireddipalli Gram Panchayat, have decided to bifurcate Ugranampalli village from Samireddipalli Gram Panchayat and to constitute as Ugranampalli new Gram Panchayat in relaxation of the criteria fixed in rule 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats (Declaration of Villages) Rules, 2007 issued in G.O.Ms.No.542, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (Pts.IV) Department, Dated.03.12.2007 and also in accordance with the ban lifting orders on bi-furcation and reorganization of Gram Panchayats issued in G.O.Ms.No.167, PR&RD(E&R) Dept., Dated.18.11.2019.
- Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extraordinary issue of the AP Gazette, Dated.07.01.2020.
- The Commissioner, Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Vijayawada is requested to publish the notification and furnish 25 copies of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette to Government, immediately.
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 3 read with clauses (a) and (f) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994) and in relaxation of the criteria fixed in rule 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats (Declaration of Villages) Rules, 2007 issued in G.O.Ms.No.542, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (Pts.IV) Department, Dated.03.12.2007.
The Government hereby cancel the notification in which the Ugranampalli Village in Chittoor District was declared as village in order to bifurcate the said village from Samireddipalli Gram Panchayat of Penumur Mandal, and constitute the area Ugranampalli as new Gram Panchayat, in Chittoor District with immediate effect, as detailed in the Annexure to this Order.
