YSR Mastyakara Bharosa Scheme 2019

Enhancement of existing monetary relief from Rs.4000/- to Rs.10,000/- per head to all sea going fishermen operating Mechanized, Motorized and Nonmotorized fishing crafts during the Marine Ban period/Lean period from 15th April to 14th June during the financial year 2019-20 under the name of the Scheme” YSR Matsyakara Bharosa”.

Government of Andhra Pradesh has consideration of the circumstances stated by the Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P. Vijayawada, in the reference, hereby issue the following amendment to the G.O.Ms.No.32, AHDD&F(Fish) dept., dated:01.11.2019.

Amendment The Ban period Relief shall be extended to all sea going fishermen covered under the following categories also under the scheme of “YSR Matsyakara Bharaosa”.
(i) Fishermen availing Rythu Bharosa, Vahanamitra.
(ii) Fishermen availing Welfare scheme pensions.

The Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P., Vijayawada shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.

Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P. Vijayawada has furnished proposals for sanction of ex-gratia by enhancing from existing amount of Rs.5.00 lakhs to Rs.10.00 lakhs to the deceased fisherman family for accidental death while fishing in the age group of 18 – 60 years for their sustenance as per the assurance given by the Hon’ble Chief Minister under “Navaratnalu”.

He has also informed that the scheme is applicable to all active fishers who are enrolled under YSR Bima with coverage under Pradhan Manthri Jeevan Jyothi Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Manthri Suraksha Bima Yojana(PMSBY), Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana (AABY) will be paid an amount of Rs. 5.00 lakhs by the Labour Department and the remaining Rs.5.00 lakhs borne from Fisheries Department funds.

Government after examination of the proposal accord administrative sanction for payment of ex-gratia by enhancing from existing amount of Rs.5.00 Lakhs to Rs.10.00 lakhs (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) to the deceased fisherman family for accidental death while fishing, in the age group of 18 – 60 years, who are enrolled under YSR Bima with a coverage under Pradhan Manthri Jeevan Jyothi Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Manthri Suraksha Bima Yojana(PMSBY), Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana (AABY), shall be paid an amount of Rs. 5.00 lakhs (Rupees Five Lakhs only) by the Labour Department and the remaining amount of Rs.5.00 lakhs (Rupees Five Lakhs only) from the Fisheries Department funds. The enhanced ex-gratia under the scheme “YSR Matsyakara Bharosa” shall be launched on the ve of World Fisheries Day i.e., 21st November 2019.

The Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P. Vijayawada shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.

This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (FMU. AC, AHDD&F, CS) Department, vide their U.O.No.FIN01-FMU0BES(LETF)/1/2019-FMU-AC-CSAH Comp.No. 981571 dated: 07.11.2019.

above and in the circumstances stated by the Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P. Vijayawada, sanction for Rs.1,07,49,000/- (Rupees One Crore Seven Lakhs Forty Nine Thousands only) to the Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P., Vijayawada from the HoA:2405-00-800-11-25-310-312 and also to draw and disburse the said amount in favour of the Collector & District Magistrate East Godavari District, Kakinada to meet the expenditure in connection with celebration of “World Fisheries Day” on 21st, November, 2019 at Mummidivaram Assembly Constituency to announce “YSR Matsyakara Bharosa” scheme by the Hon’ble Chief Minister.

The Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P Vijayawada shall take necessary action accordingly.
