Andhra Pradesh State Promotion and Transfer of Additional Superintendents of Police

The Government of Andhra Pradesh with GO 818 on 30 August 2024 ordered Andhra Pradesh State Promotion and Transfer of Additional Superintendents of Police, through the Home (Services) Department, has announced a series of promotions, postings, and transfers of Deputy Superintendents of Police (Civil) to the rank of Additional Superintendents of Police (Civil). Background of Promotions

In the earlier Government Order (G.O.Ms.No.112) on 30 August 2024, the panel of Deputy Superintendents of Police deemed fit for promotion to Additional Superintendents of Police was approved. This decision took into account the rules governing seniority within feeder categories and was contingent upon the resolution of any outstanding legal cases before the Tribunal or Courts.
