Eamcet 2013 Course Rules Amendment – Orders


In exercise of the power conferred by sections 3 and 15 of the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1983,(Andhra Pradesh Act No. 5 of 1983) the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test for entry into Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Medical, Dental and Pharm. D course Rules, 2011 issued in G.O.Ms.No.73, Higher Education (EC-2) Department, dated 28.07.2011, as subsequently amended.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Rules, in rule 3 in sub-rule (5),-

(i) in clause (i) after the words “Physics, Chemistry and Biology”, the following shall be inserted namely.-
“/Bio-Technology.”

(ii) after clause (i), the following shall be added  namely, –

“(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 50% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category and 45% in respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2”.

(iii) the existing clause (ii) (Rule 3) shall be re-numbered as clause (iii). (BY ORDER AND IN THE NAME OF THE GOVERNOR OF ANDHRA PRADESH)
