Effective immediately, girls and women of all age groups, along with transgender persons in Telangana, can avail themselves of free bus services provided by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) starting from 2 pm every Saturday.
Scheme Launch Details
The official launch of this empowering scheme is scheduled for 1.30 pm. Women can travel for free in the Palle Velugu and Express category of TSRTC buses by presenting state-issued ID cards. A ‘zero ticket’ will be issued to facilitate seamless travel for women passengers.
