He stated, “There has been widespread discussion about the Adani issue across the country. Some have accused the Telangana government of accepting funds from Adani. We operate constitutionally and legally, allowing investments only through proper procedures.” The Chief Minister further elaborated that while businesses like Adani, Ambani, and Tata have the right to operate in Telangana, the government will not let its initiatives be overshadowed by controversy. “The Skills India University was established with a noble vision to impart technical skills to thousands of unemployed youth. It is disheartening that such a positive initiative is being dragged into disputes,” he added. Rejecting the Donation in Clear Terms CM Revanth Reddy revealed that the government has officially communicated its decision to the Adani Group. A letter was sent to the group requesting them not to transfer the pledged ₹100 crore under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund to the state’s accounts. He categorically denied any claims of these funds being linked to the Chief Minister or the cabinet ministers. “No funds from the Adani Group or any external source have been deposited into Telangana government accounts,” he clarified. Commitment to Transparency The Telangana government reiterated its commitment to transparency and accountability. CM Reddy highlighted that all projects undertaken by the government follow established rules and guidelines. “We award projects through tenders, adhering to all legal norms. Any enterprise operating in the country has the right to conduct lawful business, and we ensure the same in Telangana,” he explained. Delhi Visit Clarifications Amid political speculations about his frequent visits to Delhi, CM Revanth Reddy clarified his reasons for the latest trip. “This visit is purely for personal purposes, to attend the wedding of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s daughter. On Tuesday, we will discuss parliamentary sessions with our MPs and meet central ministers to address Telangana’s issues,” he shared. Responding to criticism about his 28 visits to Delhi, he dismissed the allegations, saying, “Unlike others, I don’t travel to Delhi for lobbying or bail. If needed, I will go as many times as necessary to secure the rightful benefits for Telangana.” Sharp Criticism of Opposition Taking a dig at the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, CM Reddy accused them of corruption involving the Adani Group. “The BRS government has handed over several projects to Adani in the past and even took commissions. KTR seems eager to go to jail, perhaps hoping it will pave his way to becoming Chief Minister,” he remarked. He also pointed out the internal rivalry within the KCR family, noting, “If going to jail guarantees the CM’s position, Kavitha from KCR’s family would have already claimed it. The competition for the Chief Minister’s chair is fierce within their family.” A Bold Stand by Telangana The Telangana government’s decision to reject the donation from the Adani Group highlights its intent to prioritize transparency and steer clear of controversies. Rejecting the Donation in Clear Terms: Clearly, the funds will not be coming in

According to CM Revanth Reddy, the government has made its intentions clear to the Adani Group. A letter was addressed to the group urging them not to transfer the pledged portion (₹100 crore) of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund with state accounts. He also absolutely dismissed any allegations that these funds were in any way associated with the Chief Minister or the cabinet ministers. “There has not been any such transaction where funds from the Adani Group or other parties were transferred into the accounts of the Government of Telangana,” he cleared the air.

Claiming the Right to Information

CM Reddy emphasized the fact that the government all the projects which are carried out by the government are done in accordance with the prescribed rules. “We issue tenders for the projects and works in a bid to comply with all the laws of the country. In light of political questions surrounding his travelling to Delhi frequently, CM Revanth Reddy stated the purposes of the recent visit. “This visit is purely for family issue, I am going to attend the wedding of Lok Sabha Speaker’s daughter Lok Sabha Speaker O. Birla. Let’s also talk over Tuesday on Parliament sittings with our MPs. Additionally, we will see some central ministers on the issues affecting Telangana,” he said.

As for the charge of having been to Delhi 28 times, he rebutted the allegations, arguing that, “I do not travel to Delhi for going for lobbying like others or bail sitting and enjoying. If necessary, I will go as many times as I feel it is important to get appropriate due out of Telangana.”

Sharp Criticism of Opposition

While targeting the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, CM Reddy accused them of corruption which he claimed amounts to the Adani Group. “The BRS government has given several parlous projects to Adani in the past and did take commissions even. It seems KTR wants to land in prison for some strange reasons probably that will help to be Prime Minister,” he exclaimed.

He further explained the internal dynamics within the KCR family by stating, ‘If went to jail was the qualification for the position of CM, Kavitha from KCR’s family would have already been there. The family rivalry in the occupation of the Chief Minister’s chair is real’”
