Their destination was Bangkok, Thailand, where they participated in an illustrious International workshop orchestrated by the Network for Development of Agricultural Cooperatives in Asia and the Pacific (NEDAC). Chonburi Province played host to an insightful expedition. The delegation visited the FIGnature garden, a testament to sustainable agriculture’s potential. In an interactive session, they engaged directly with local farmers, sharing insights, experiences, and wisdom.

The Indian delegation was graced by illustrious figures from the realm of cooperative banking. Bhima Subrahmanyam, Chairman of the International Cooperative Banking Association (ICBA), lent his esteemed presence. The team also included NEDAC Director R Krishna and Thailand’s APRACA Secretary-General, Prasanna Kumar. The visionary chairman of NAFSCOB, Konduru Ravinder Rao, and TSCAB’s Vice Chairman, Gongadi Mahender Reddy, contributed their expertise. The accomplished TSCAB Managing Director, N Muralidhar, and all DCCB chairpersons from Telangana were integral to the delegation.
