Prospecting License for Laterite Sy No 126 of Siripuram Village


Sri M. Anil, has applied for grant of Prospecting License for Laterite, over an extent of 15.00 Acres, in Sy. No. 126  of Siripuram Village, Marpally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District for a period of 15 years. The said application was received by the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, Kurnool on 17.01.2012. G.O.Ms.No. 88 Dated: 02.09.2013

The Director of Mines and Geology has submitted proposals to the Government, stating that, after survey and demarcation the subject area comes to 12.40 Acres (5.000 Hectares). With regard to NOC, the Tahsildar Marpally Mandal vide his Lr. No. C/360/2012, dated 10.04.2012 has issued NOC in favour  of  the  applicant.  With regard to  combined sketch, the applicant has submitted Combined Sketch showing the  Geo-Co-ordinates,  with  combined  signatures  of  Tahsildar  Marpally Mandal,  ADM&G.,  Tandur    and  the  applicant.  With  regard  to  financial capacity, the applicant has submitted IT Returns for the last 3 financial years.   The Director of Mines & Geology has therefore requested the Government to consider the Prospecting License application of Sri M. Anil Reddy for Laterite over an extent of  5.000 Hectares in Sy. No. 126  of Siripuram Village, Marpally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District for a period of 3 years.

Government after examination of the proposal of the Director of Mines & Geology, hereby grant the Prospecting License in favour of Sri M. Anil Reddy for Laterite over an extent of  5.000 Hectares  in Sy. No. 126  of Siripuram Village, Marpally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District for a period of 3 years, under Rule 11 of Mineral Concession Rules, 1960 and subject to  the other rules and conditions  under the Mineral Concession Rules, 1960 and to the additional conditions specified in the Appendix to this order.

The rate of Prospecting  fee will be Rs.5/- (Rupees five only) per hectare of the land covered by the license for each year or portion of a year.

The grantee should deposit as security a sum of Rs.2,500/- (Rupees two thousand and five hundred only) per every square kilometer or  part thereof as prescribed in Rule 20 of M.C. Rules, 1960 before the license deed is actually executed.

The terms and conditions referred to in paras 4 & 5 of this order are subject to such further modifications, additions and alterations as may be ordered before the license deed is executed.

The grantee should execute the license deed, within the time limit specified in Rule 15 of M.C. Rules, 1960.

The Director of Mines and Geology is requested to take necessary further  action  for  the  execution  of  the  Prospecting  License  deed  after satisfying himself that the grantee fulfils all the required provisions of the amended Act and Rules.  As soon as the P.L deed is executed, the date of such execution should be reported to the Government.

The grant is liable to cancellation, should it be found that it was grossly inequitable or was made under a mistake of fact or owing to misrepresentation or fraud or in excess of authority and also subject to not affecting existing structures of monumental value in the area.
