Formation of Kotha Nandikonda village as a new Gram Panchayat


The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Employment, Hyderabad has submitted the proposal of the District Panchayat Officer, Nalgonda for formation of Kotha Nandikonda village as a new Gram Panchayat duly bifurcating from Molkacherla Gram Panchayat of Damercherla (M) in Nalgonda District. The Gram Panchayat Molkacherla has the following habitations.

A. Molkacherla
B. Kotha Nandikonda
C. Chintachettu Thanda
D. Bangaru kunta Thanda
E. Balija Thanda

The District Panchayat Officer, Nalgonda has reported that the population of Kotha Nandikonda is 1199. Distance between Molkacherla Gram Panchayat to Kotha Nandikonda village is 4Kms and annual income of the Kotha Nandikonda Village is Rs.28,500/- . There is no disturbance of Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency boundaries even after bifurcation. The proposed bifurcation areas are in Non-Scheduled area.

The Molkacherla Gram Sabha has resolved to bifurcate the Kotha Nandikonda village from their Gram Panchayat vide their resolution dated.14.04.2012.

Government after careful of the matter and keeping in view of the resolution of the Gram Panchayat Molkacherla and also the reports of the District Panchayat Officer, Nalgonda and the remarks of the Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, Hyderabad, have decided for bifurcation of Kotha Nandi konda Village from the Gram Panchayat Molkacherla of Damercherla Mandal, Nalgonda District and constitute the area as new Gram Panchayat namely of Kotha Nandikonda Gram Panchayat.

Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extraordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated: 12 -03-2013.

The Commissioner, Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Hyderabad, is requested to publish the notification and furnish 25 copies of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette to Government, immediately.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub Section (1) of section 3 read with clauses (a) and (f) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act No. 13 of 1994) and rule 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayat (Declaration of villages) Rules, 2007 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 542 Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (Pts.IV) Department, Dated:
3.12.2007 and in relaxation of the ban orders issued in the G.O.Rt. No.1634, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (Pts.IV) Department, Dated: 12.10.2001, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby cancel the notification in which the Kotha Nandikonda Village in Nalgonda District was declared as village in order to bifurcate the said village from Molkacherla Gram Panchayat of Damercherla Mandal and constitute as new Gram Panchayat of Kotha Nandikonda Gram Panchayat, Nalgonda District with immediate effect.
