Widening and strengthening four roads in Manthani Constituency

The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) State Roads, Hyderabad has submitted estimates for the following four works:-

(i) Widening and Strengthening of Link road to Manthani – Ramagundam road from Km. 0/0 to 1/650 in Karimnagar District with an estimation of Rs. 210-00 lakhs.
The link road to Manthani – Ramagundam road starts from the heart of Manthani Mandal headquarters and ends at Km. 3/2 of Manthani – Ramagundam road which leads to Godavarikhani on one side and Bhupalapally on other side. Both Godavarikhani and Bhoopalpally are coal mine areas. There is a famous function hall in Manthani town named Shivakrishna Gardens on this road in which the VIPs functions and District Level Official meetings take place regularly. Many people residing in Manthani town pass through this road to go to Ramagundam, Godavarikhani and many towns in Adilabad district. The link road to Manthani – Ramagundam road is a single lane CC road which is severely damaged and cracked throughout in longitudinal and transverse direction.

(ii) Widening and strengthening of Manthani – Ramagundam road from Km. 4/4 to 10/6 in Karimnagar district with an estimation of Rs. 484-00 lakhs.
The Manthani – Ramagundam road is an important road which connects the Manthani Revenue Division with Godavarikhani and Industrial area of Ramagundam. The entire length of the road was widened to two lane except from Km. 4/4 to 10/6 which has become bottle neck to vehicular traffic. Due to continuous movement of heavy loaded sand and coal trucks, the vehicular traffic is facing lot of inconvenience as the road is single lane from Km. 4/4 to 16/4 and it is necessary to widen the existing single lane to double lane as the traffic is increasing day by day.

(iii) Widening and strengthening of Manthani – Oded road from Km. 9/0 to 14/2 in Karimnagar district with an estimation of Rs. 360-00 lakhs.
The Manthani – Oded road is an important Major District road which passes through Manthani Muttaram mandal headquarters and it connects the Manthani Revenue Division and many interior villages. The reach from Km. 14/2 to 17/2 was already widened to two lane. There is lot of movement of vehicular traffic from Km. 9/0 to 14/2 in the above road and hence vehicular traffic is facing lot of inconvenience as the road is single lane. It is necessary to widen the existing singe lane to double lane. The CVPD is 512. The year of last renewal in Km. 9/0 to 10/4 is 2001-02, from Km.10/4 to 10/6; Km.10/6 to 10/8 and Km.10/80 to 14/2 is 2011-12.

(iv)Widening and strengthening of Manthani – Ramagundam road from Km. 0/0 to 1/4 (Manthani town limits) in Karimnagar district with an estimation of Rs. 280-00 lakhs.
The Manthani is a major town in Manthani Assembly constituency having Revenue Division Headquarters in Manthani town limits which start at Km. 0/0 and ends nearly about at 1/4 of Manthani – Ramagundam road. It is located in the heart of the town Manthani having 11 Metres wide CC road which is damaged and cracked at many places.
Further, this reach connects Coal Mines of Bhoopalapally in Warangal district and Godavarikhani in Karimnagar district having a lot of vehicular traffic movement and regular floating traffic which is essential to widen to four lane with Central Median in the town limits to meet the requirement.
