The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Employment, Hyderabad has submitted the proposal of the District Panchayat Officer, Karimnagar for formation of Indiranagar village as a new Gram panchayat by clubbing Mallapur and Bharathnagar Villages duly bifurcating from Jillella Gram Panchayat in Siricilla Mandal of Karimnagar District. The District Panchayat Officer, Karimnagar has informed that the existing Jillella Gram Panchayat has the following habitations:-
1) Jillella, 2) Indiranagar, 3) Mallapur and 4)Bharathnagar

The District Panchayat Officer, Karimnagar has reported that the population of Indiranagar, Mallapur and Bharathnagar Villages are 219, 433 and 334, income are Rs.10,396/- , Rs.20,555/- and Rs.33,276/- and Distance from the Villages to Jillella Gram Panchayat are 3.5K.Ms., 3.5 KMs., and 6.5 KMs. Even after bifurcation the boundaries of MPTC will not change. The Gram Panchayat proposed for bifurcation are existing in Non- scheduled area.
The Jillella Gram Panchayat in its Gram Sabha resolution dt.14.04.2012 has resolved to bifurcate the Villages from Gram Panchayat Jillella and constitute the area as new Gram Panchayat.
Government after careful examination of the matter and keeping in view of the resolution of the Jillella Gram Sabha, report of the District Panchayat Officer, Karimnagar and the remarks of the Commissioner, PR&RE, Hyderabad, have decided for formation of Indiranagar village as a new Gram panchayat by clubbing Mallapur and Bharathnagar Villages duly bifurcating from the Gram Panchayat Jillella and constitute the area as new Gram Panchayat namely Indiranagar in relaxation of criteria prescribed in rule 6 of the G.O.Ms.No.542, PR&RD (Pts.IV) Dept., Dt.3-12-2007 and the ban orders issued in the G.O.Rt.No.1634, PR&RD (Pts.IV) Dept., dt.12.10.2001.
