Economic Support Schemes with 100 % subsidy in the Telangana State


Implementation of Economic Support Schemes with 100 %  subsidy for the Backward Classes in the Telangana State Government of Telangana have issued orders to implement the Economic Support Schemes with the following subsidy pattern for Backward Classes in the State.

Subsidy Bank Loan/Others
 80 %     (for unit cost up to Rs.1.00 Lakh)

70%      (for unit cost up to Rs.2.00 Lakh)

60%       (limited to Rs.5.00 Lakhs for unit cost from Rs.2.01 Lakh up to Rs.12.00 Lakhs)

Balance as bank loan / individual contribution

Government have issued orders regarding registration of Individual applications and societies applications through online in TSOBMMS website of https://ts.obmms.cgg.gov.in for grounding the financial assistance schemes during the Financial year 2018-19.

Government have issued guidelines for implementation of Economic Support Schemes to the Backward Classes in the state.

It is informed that in the review meeting held on 6th & 7th July, 2018 on the activities of Telangana State BC Cooperative Finance Corporation and (11) BC Federations, certain directions were given by the Government for effective implementation of financial assistance schemes by the Telangana State Backward Classes Cooperative Finance Corporation and (11) BC Federations. The Managing    Director, Telangana State Backward Classes Cooperative Finance Corporation Ltd., Hyderabad has therefore requested the Government to issue necessary orders for preparing the action plan to the financial assistance schemes and to clarify on sanction of Rs 75,000/- as full subsidy to the beneficiaries of Telangana State B.C. Coop. Finance Corporation and (11) BC Federations.

The government, after careful examination of the matter and in continuation to the orders issued in the references read above, hereby issue the following guidelines to the Economic Support Schemes being implemented by Telangana State Backward Classes Cooperative Finance Corporation /(11) B.C Federations.

I) Constitution of Committee:

 District level scrutiny committee is constituted with the following members:-

i) District Collector – Chairman

ii) Joint Collector          –      Member

iii) PD, DRDO                 –      Member

iv) DBCDO – Member Convenor

 District Scheduled Caste Development Officer, Minority Welfare Officer shall be invited as an invitee for the scrutiny committee meetings for the schemes of Budga Jangam, Dudekula Caste etc.,

The Committee shall ensure Transparency in selection of beneficiaries. Preference should be given to poorest of the poor and no scope shall be given to any middlemen.

Subsidy Pattern:

100% subsidy will be given as grant to the Unit Cost of Rs.50,000/- from BC Corporation/respective Federations for the applicants who have applied for Industries, Services & Business Sector (ISB Sector), Petty business. The sanctioned funds should be utilized for purchasing material like vegetables, fruits, Bangles stores etc as per their line of business. Grant will be provided through cheque.

80,000/- Subsidy will be provided for the other applicants who have applied for traditional occupation up gradation like purchasing tools, equipment, machinery. The remaining Rs.20,000/- shall be contributed by the applicant. The total fund for the unit would be Rs.1,00,000/- in each case. Respective BC Corporation / (11) BC Federations would make a list of manufacturers, suppliers for the occupation wise material/equipment/machinery. The rates may be negotiated by the respective Corporation/Federations.

The applicant is free to purchase from any one of them or applicant is at liberty to purchase from wherever he/she wants. The list of suppliers is only for guidance purpose.

Others

Artisan communities like Vishwabrahmin, Nayee Brahmin, Kummari etc., will be sanctioned a subsidy of Rs.80,000/- Out of the unit cost of Rs.1.00 Lakh and Rs.20,000/- shall be the beneficiary contribution and cheque will be issued directly to the beneficiary for the purchase of machinery and material etc., for business.

 Implementation of some innovative projects for Toddy Tappers, like Neera project, Plantations of Palmyra, Dates, Palm frees. The Managing Directors, of Telangana B.C. Coop. Finance Corporation and (11) B.C. Federations Ltd., Hyderabad shall take necessary further action accordingly.
