Engineer-In-Chief (R&B) State Roads, Hyd., has stated that the Jangamaipally-Ghanpur road is a Major Dristrict road which starts at Jangamipally Village and ends at Ghanpur village. This is main and nearest approach to District Head Quarter and it is a parallet road to NH44 which reduce the length about 11 kms from Wanaparthy to Mahabubnagar. This road is an important approach to Mahabubnagar in combination of 3 roads 1. Wanaparthy-Buddaram road 2.Balijapllybranch road 3.Jnagamipally- Ghanpur road and 4.Mahabubnagar-mannanoor road with a length of 52.00 kms to Mahabubnagar. There is lot of traffic on this road and
many accidents are occurring due to single lane hence, it is necessary to widen this road to double lane.
2. The Engineer-In-Chief (R&B) State Roads, Hyderabad has requested the Government to accord necessary Administrative
Sanction for the work Widening & Strengthening from single lane to Double lane in km 7/0 to 12/0 and Strengthening only to the existing width of 5.50 m width in km 12/0 to 15/0 in Mahabubnagar District for an amount of Rs.6.57 Crores under Plan MDR Scheme for the year 2013-14.
3. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby accord administrative sanction for the work “Widening & Strengthening from single lane to Double lane in km 7/0 to 12/0 and Strengthening only to the existing width of 5.50 m width in km 12/0 to 15/0 in Mahabubnagar District for an amount of Rs.6.57 Crores(Rupees Six Crores and fifty seven lakhs ) under plan MDR Scheme for the year 2013-14.
4. The amount sanctioned in the Para (3) above shall be met from the Head of Account Head of Account “5054 Col on roads and Bridges -04- Districts and other roads -MH800- Other expenditure–GH11-Normal state plan-SH (07)- Major District Roads -530- Major Works – 531 –Other expenditure”.
5. This order issues with the concurrence of Fin. (Expr.PW-II) Department vide their U.O. No. 4356/169/Exp.Pw-II/2014 Dt.14- 2- 2014.
