Special Package for Rehabilitation of Affected Families in the Kolleru Lake Operations


A provision of Rs.125.00 lakhs have been provided in the Budget Estimate 2012- 13 to meet the expenditure under “Special Rehabilitation Package for affected Families in Kolleru Lake Operations”, out of which, an amount of Rs.62.48 lakhs has already been released during the 1st & 2nd quarter vide GO 1st & 2nd read above, leaving the balance of Rs. 62.52 lakhs during the current financial year 2012-2013.

The Finance (WA-I) Department vide GO 3rd read above have issued consolidated Budget Release Order for an amount of Rs.5199.70 lakhs for implementation of various schemes of Rural Development Department, out of which an amount of Rs.31.24 Lakhs has been earmarked under “Special Rehabilitation Package for affected Families in Kolleru Lake Operations” under Plan Scheme and also authorized the Director, Rural Development, Hyderabad for its drawal and disbursement, during 3rd quarter of the current financial year 2012 -13.

Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative sanction for release of an amount of Rs. 31.24 lakhs (Rupees Thirty one lakhs and twenty four thousand only) to the Director, Rural Development, Hyderabad to meet the expenditure under ‘Special Package for Rehabilitation of Affected Families in the Kolleru Lake Operations’ during the 3rd quarter of the current financial year 2012-13.

The amount sanctioned in para 3 above, shall be debited to the following head of account:-.

(a) General Plan of 24.12 lakhs (Rupees twenty four lakhs and Twelve Thousand only)

The Director of Rural Development, Hyderabad shall draw the funds by presenting Grants-in-aid bill and adjust the amounts to the PD A/c No.8448-120-12 after obtaining the budget authorisation from the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Hyderabad in accordance with the Budget release order issued in the reference 3rd read above, and intimate the allotment of funds to the Government. The Director, Rural Development, Hyderabad shall watch the drawal and utilization of the funds by the concerned project implementing agencies.

The Director, Rural Development, Hyderabad is informed that, this allotment cannot be construed as an authority for incurring the expenditure and the same shall be spent under proper sanction of the competent authority as prescribed under relevant rules and informed that no further budget will be released until the DOR (Drawing Officer’s Receipt) is received.

The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Hyderabad is requested to issue necessary budget authorisation to the Director of Rural Development, Hyderabad in accordance with the Budget Release Order issued in the reference 3rd read above.

This order does not require the concurrence of the Finance Department in view of the BRO issued.
