Residual villages of Mandal Praja Parishad Gudur Kurnool District

Government  have denotified the Gram Panchayat, Gudur for upgradation as Nagar Panchayat and upgraded the Gram Panchayat Gudur as Gudur Nagar Panchayat.

The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, Hyderabad, in his letter third read above has informed that as per the report of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Praja Parishad, Kurnool, the Mandal Praja Parishad, Gudur was having twelve (12) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies. After having upgraded the Gudur Gram Panchayat into Gudur Nagara Panchayat Gudur Mandal Praja Parishad has lost five (5) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies out of twelve (12) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies. Therefore, he has requested the Government to reconstitute Gudur Mandal Praja Parishad.

Government after careful consideration have decided to reconstitute the Gudur Mandal Praja Parishad with the remaining seven (7) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies.
