Indiramma Kalalu Swayam Upadhi Sub Plan 2013-14


The Tribal Welfare Department in tune with Tribal Empowerment Policy, 2010-2015 and also in compliance to the 9-point Program for Tribal Development announced by Hon’ble Chief Minister, the Tribal Welfare Department has proposed to assist 60,000 BPL ST families for income generating activities to bring them to APL. The Hon’ble Chief Minister during his visit to Srisailam and Nellore as a part of Indirammabata has given assurance for implementing special programs for the development for Yanadis and Chenchus.

The Nodal Agency for TSP in its meeting held on 13.05.2013 after thorough deliberations, has agreed and recommended for implementation of economic support schemes to the 60,000 ST families during the year 2013-14 by giving preference to most disadvantaged and vulnerable groups on equity basis in accordance with the provisions of the Act No1. of 2013. The State Council for Development of SCs & STs in its meeting held on 21.05.2013 has approved the proposal of Nodal Agency for TSP.

After careful examination of the proposal and keeping in view of the assurance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and decision of the State Council,

sanction is hereby accorded for allocation of Rs.60.00 Crores under Normal State Plan 2013-14, for implementation of Economic Support Schemes, as shown in Annexure- I and appended to G.O. adequate budget provision of Rs.60.00 Crores has been already made available under BE 2013-14.

The Commissioner, Tribal Welfare and Managing Director, TRICOR shall take further necessary action to implement during the current financial year as per the procedure laid down vide G.O.Ms.No.73 and G.O.Ms.No.60.

The expenditure shall be debited to the following head of account.
