Reconstitution of the Mandal Praja Parishad Guntur


Government of Andhra Pradesh have denotified the ten (10) Gram Panchayats in Guntur District so as to include the same into Guntur Municipal Corporation and included the same Gram Panchayats into Guntur Municipal Corporation.

The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, Hyderabad, in his letter third read above has informed that as per the report of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Praja Parishad, Guntur the Mandal Praja Parishad Guntur was having twenty five (25) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies. After having inclusion of the ten (10) Gram Panchayats into Guntur Municipal Corporation, the Mandal Praja Parishad Guntur has lost fifteen (15) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies out of twenty five (25) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies. Therefore, he has requested to reconstitute Guntur Mandal Praja Parishad.

Government after careful consideration have decided to reconstitute the Guntur Mandal Praja Parishad with the remaining ten (10) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies.

The District Collector, Guntur is requested to take necessary action to publish the Notification in the District Gazette for information and wide publicity of the public.
