Funds for 23 DDMA’s Training & Capacity Building of District level


State of Andhra Pradesh was sanctioned Rs.30.00 Crore as grant towards Capacity Building for Disaster Response (CBDR) 2010-11 to 2014-15, @ Rs.6.00 crores per annum, as per the recommendations of the  13th Finance Commission.

Finance (Exp-Rev) Department has issued Budget Release Order (BRO) for an amount of Rs.6,00,00,000/- (Rupees Six Crore Only) to the Commissioner for Disaster Management, Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh, towards CBDR activities for the year 2010-11.

A sum of Rs.29 lakh was proposed to be released to each of the 23 District Collectors in the State based on the proposal received from the District Collector, Machilipatnam in the letter 4th read above, towards conducting of different training programme / workshops at District, Divisional & Mandal level.

The above proposal was approved by the State Executive Committee (SEC) for CBDR under XIII FCG in the references 6th & 7th read above vide agenda item no: 4, for a sum of Rs.7,80,000/- to each District Collector.

The details of amount now proposed to be released to each district collector, amount already released and the balance now to be released are as shown here under:

Government after careful consideration, hereby sanction and release a sum of Rs.1,24,40,000/- (Rupees One Crore Twenty Four Lakh and Forty Thousand only) to the 18 District Collectors (1) Vizianagaram (Rs7.80 lakhs), (2) Visakhapatnam (Rs.7.80 lakhs) (3) Krishna (Rs.7.80 lakhs), (4) Guntur (Rs.7.80 lakhs), (5) Prakasam (Rs.7.80 lakhs), (6) SPS Nellore (Rs.2.80 lakhs), (7) Chittoor (Rs.7.80 lakhs), (8) Kurnool (Rs.7.80 lakhs), (9) Mahaboobnagar (Rs2.80 lakhs), (10) Ranga Reddy (Rs.7.80 Lakhs), (11) Hyderabad (Rs.7.80Lakhs), (12) Medak (Rs.7.80Lakhs), (13) Adilabad (Rs.2.80 lakhs), (14) Karimnagar (Rs.7.80 lakhs), (15) Warangal (Rs.7.80 lakhs),(16) Khammam (Rs.7.80 Lakhs), (17) Nalgonda (Rs.7.80 lakhs) (18) Nizamabad (Rs.6.80 lakhs) from the Bank Account SB.Ac.No.1057104000051776, being operated in the name of “Capacity Building for Disaster Response (CBDR) under 13th Finance Commission Grant” in IDBI Bank, Plot.No.15 & 28, Srinivasa Chambers, Mansoorabad, LB Nagar Ring Road, Ranga Reddy District.

The expenditure now sanctioned shall be booked against the component mentioned hereunder and the payment made in the form of Account Payee Cheque, issued in the name of the Collectors of above the 18 Districts in the State. The details of total allocation for the year 2010-11, in the reference 3rd  read above, expenditure incurred so far,  progressive expenditure after including the amount sanctioned herein and the balance available are as detailed hereunder, component wise.

8.       The Special Commissioner,  State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA), shall arrange for issue of 18  Account Payee Cheques, for totaling amount of Rs.1,24,40,000/- (Rupees One Crore Twenty Four Lakh and Forty Thousand Only) to in favour of the 18 District Collectors as mentioned in para 6 above.

9.     The Expenditure now sanctioned and released shall be utilized for the purpose for which it is sanctioned. All the 23 District Collectors shall submit audited Utilization Certificate to the Government in this regard immediately.

10.    This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (Exp. Rev) Dept., vide their U.O.Note.No.29875-A/1283/A1/BG.1/2006, Fin (BG-1) Dept., Dt 25-11-2006.
