Fee structure for the Law Courses LLB / BL and PG in Private Unaided Colleges 5


In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Law Courses (Regulation of Admissions into 3 year and 5 year L.L.B/B.L. courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2006 read with sub rule (V) of Rule 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (For Professional courses offered in Private Un-aided Professional Institutions) Rules, 2006 issued in the G.O.Ms.No.6, Higher Education (EC.2) Dept., dated.8.1.2007 and in pursuance of the resolution of the Committee(AFRC) dated: 05.09.2013 received in the reference 6th read above, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby continue the fee structures fixed in the year 2011-12 to the present academic year also and re-notify the following Fee structure for Law courses (L.L.B/B.L) in Private Unaided professional Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the Academic year 2013-2014.

The tuition fee is fixed at Rs. 9,600/- (Rupees nine thousands and six hundreds only) per annum for ‘A’ category seats and upto Rs.32,000/- (Rupees Thirty two thousands only) per annum for each student for ‘B’ category seats, as classified in the Admission G.O.Ms.No.64, Higher Education (U.E.II) Dept., dated.26.5.2006 in the Private Un-aided L.L.B/B.L Colleges for the academic year 2013-14.

2.       The following Special Fees for the academic year 2013-14 is fixed for U.G. Law courses(LL.B/B.L):-

(i)           Rs.1,000/- as one-time payment per student at the time of admission  towards Admission / Registration / Recognition fees and half of such amount of  Rs.1,000/- so collected shall be remitted by the Institutions to the concerned University.

(ii)          Rs.1,000/- per annum per student during the 3 years /5 years Course towards students related special services rendered by them as detailed below and the said amount shall be retained by the Institutions:-

(iii)        Rs.500/- towards Library deposit by way of refundable caution deposit at the time of admission only as one-time payment.

3.       Consequently Government hereby issues the following directions to all the concerned Private LL.B/B.L colleges:-

(i)                   The students admitted to the course during the academic year 2013-14 shall continue to pay every year the same annual tuition fee as paid at the time of their admission till they complete the course.

(ii)                  The students who were admitted in the college prior to the academic year 2013-14 shall continue to pay every year the same annual tuition fee at the rate existing at the time of their admission till they complete the course.

(iii)                The institution shall collect the tuition fee every year in advance only for that particular year either in a lumpsum or in installments, if it so opts.

(iv)                 The Institutions shall not  charge any capitation fee or any amount unauthorisedly or illegally under any other head or guise (e.g., donation etc.), either directly or indirectly, other than the fee fixed by the Committee, as collection of any such unauthorized amounts would amount to charging of Capitation Fee, and that the surplus (profit) that is generated from the collection of the Fee must be for the benefit of the Institution, and cannot be diverted for other purposes or for personal gain.

(v)                  The Institutions are informed that fixation of the Fee Structure by the Admission & Fee Regulation Committee will not by itself enable or permit the managements to run the relevant courses in their institutions, if they are otherwise not duly recognized and permitted by the Government or BCI/ Concerned University at any relevant time.

(vi)                 The above Tuition fee is fixed for the academic year, 2013-14 subject to a provision for neutralization of inflationary impact to the required extent at the beginning of the academic year 2013-14.

In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Regulation of Admissions into Post Graduate Law (L.L.M/M.L) Courses through Common Entrance Test Rules, 2007 read with sub rule (V) of Rule 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (For Professional courses offered in Private Un-aided Professional Institutions) Rules, 2006 issued in the G.O.Ms.No.6, Higher Education (EC.2) Dept., dt.8.01.2007, and in pursuance of the resolution  of the Committee(AFRC) dated.05.09.2013, received in the reference 7th read above, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby continue the fee structures fixed in the year 2011-12 to the present academic year also i.e., 2013-14 and notify the following Fee structure for Post Graduate Law courses in Private Unaided Professional Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the Academic year 2013-2014:

The tuition fee is fixed at Rs.21,600/- (Rupees twenty one thousand six hundred only ) per annum for “A” category seats and Rs.33,800/- (Rupees Thirty three thousand  eight hundred only) per annum for “B” category seats, as classified in the G.O.Ms.No.116, Higher Education (UE.II) Department, dated 7.8.2007 for PG Law (2 years LLM/ML) courses in the Private Unaided colleges for the academic year 2013-14.

2.       The following Special Fees for the academic year 2013-14 is fixed for P.G.  Law (2 Years LLM/ML) courses:-

(i)  Rs.1,000/- as one-time payment per student at the time of admission towards Admission / Registration / Recognition fees and half of such amount of Rs.1,000/- so collected shall be remitted by the Institutions to the concerned University.

(ii) Rs.1,000/- per annum per student during the 2 years Course towards students related special services rendered by them as detailed below and the said amount shall be retained by the Institutions:-

(iii) Rs.500/- towards Library deposit by way of refundable caution deposit at the time of admission only as one-time payment.

3.       Consequently, Government  hereby issue the following directions  to all the concerned Post Graduate Law colleges as mentioned  in the proceedings issued by  the Committee relating to the fee structure finalized for those colleges:-

(i)           The students admitted to the course during the academic years 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 shall continue to pay every year the same annual tuition fee as paid at the time of their admission till they complete the course.

(ii)          The students who were admitted in the college prior to the academic year 2013-14 shall continue to pay every year the same annual tuition fee at the rate existing at the time of their admission till they complete the course.
