Constitution of Select Committees To Design & Development IT project in Andhra Pradesh


In the circumstances stated by the Mission Director, NRHM and Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, Government hereby constitute the following Committees to assist in design, development and formulation of specific IT projects

Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Sub-committees for ICT in HM&FW Department, AP

i.     To review the specified areas, and document existing practices of IT and status of implementation in the specified areas allotted to the sub- committees

ii.    To suggest

a. processes, workflows and measures for improving service delivery and  the  areas  where  new  &  innovative  technology  could  be deployed;

b. areas/ domains where standards need to be formulated on priority for  interoperability  and  delivery  of  integrated  services  that  cut across the areas identified for the sub-committees.

iii.    To identify the services for which ICT should be used and prepare a plan of action for implementation of ICT.

iv.     To  lay  down  key  objectives  to  be  achieved,  scope  and  approve  the services to be covered by each sub-project, along with the deliverables

which  conform  to  the  requirements  along  with  the  timelines  and modalities,  and  will  guide  the  implementation  of  the  projects  in  a

harmonized manner

v.    To identify the stakeholders and their role and responsibilities

vi.     To identify  and suggest measures for addressing operational, legal, and institutional issues and bottlenecks if any

vii.    To study and document the best practices elsewhere in the country

viii.    Any  other  issue/  suggestion  that  the  sub-committees  might  consider relevant for accelerating the implementation of IT and service delivery.

ix.     To prepare a report covering above points by the sub-committees for the specified area within one month.

The  Steering  Committee shall  scrutinize the reports prepared by the sub-committees and guide the approval and implementation of the projects taken up from time to time.
