Constitution of Committee for fixation of land cost for APIIC


During the recent past, many major IT companies have made request for allotment of land in Hyderabad at reasonable cost to build their own campuses indicating their choice of preference as APIIC lands at Raidurg and HMDA Kokapet IT SEZ. In order to evolve the modalities and for fixing a reasonable price for APIIC Lands at Raidurg and HMDA Lands at Kokapet for allotment to IT Majors and to attract them to AP, the same was placed before the meeting held on 01.02.2013 with the Hon’ble Chief Minister.

During the meeting vide reference cited, it was resolved that a Committee should be formed for framing the modalities for fixation of land cost and suggest further course of action in this regard. It was also resolved that, the Committee shall also put in suitable stipulations for creation of local employment in the total employment to be generated by the IT Company on the subject land.

APIIC Lands at Raidurg and HMDA Lands at Kokapet

In view of the above, Government after due consideration hereby constitute a Committee for framing the modalities for fixation of land cost for APIIC Lands at Raidurg and HMDA Lands at Kokapet, with the following composition:

• CCLA – Chairman
• Prl.Secretary, Revenue – Member
• PFS – Member
• VC & MD, APIIC – Member
• Commissioner, HMDA – Member
• Secretary, IT&C – Member Convenor

The Committee shall frame the modalities for fixation of reasonable land cost for APIIC lands at Raidurg and HMDA Kokapet IT SEZ for allotment of land to IT Majors who fulfill the land allotment criteria as per ICT Policy 2010-2015. The Committee shall also put in suitable stipulations for creation of local employment in the total employment to be generated by the IT Company on the subject land.
