New A.P. Social Welfare Residential School for Girls at Valmeekipuram


The District Collector & Chairman, Piler Area Development Authority, Chittoor District has submitted proposal for sanction of New A.P. Social Welfare Residential School for Girls at Valmeekipuram in Piler Area Constituency of Chittoor District. Further the District Collector, Chittoor has stated that, the requirement of Land also identified at Valmeekipuram in Sy.No.1703/7 Village site to extent of 1.77 Acres and Sy.No.1706/1 to 5 Village site to extent of 4.28 Acres acquired for the House Sites and LA Act, approximate amount required is Rs.10.00 Crores.

The Secretary, APSWREIS, Hyderabad has submitted a detailed report to Government for sanction of a new A.P. Social Welfare Residential School for Girls at Valmeekipuram in Piler Constituency of Chittoor District along with the teaching and non teaching staff to sanction the amount of Rs.1129.6 lakhs towards recurring and non-recurring expenditure involved on various items for starting the school.

Government after consideration of the proposal of Secretary, APSWREIS here by accord permission to the Secretary, APSWREIS, to start a non upgraded school for girls at Valmeekipuram in Piler Constituency of Chittoor District from the academic year 2013-14 having a total students strength of 480 students from 5th class to 10th class @ of 80 students in each class. Each class shall have 2 sections with 40 students in each section. The admission of the students will be as per the pattern followed in the APSWR Institutions. Initially, in the 1st year of Establishment, the school starts with 5th class, 6th class & 8th class in a rented accommodation or in the Government building if any made available by the District Collector, Chittoor District.

Government also accord sanction to an amount of Rs.1129.6 lakhs towards recurring and non-recurring expenditure for starting up a new Social Welfare Residential School at Valmikipuram in Piler Constituency of Chittoor District.

The orders for sanction of teaching and non-teaching staff will be issued separately by the Finance (SMPC-I) Department.

The Secretary, APSWREIS, Hyderabad is requested to take further necessary action accordingly.

This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (S.W.Expr) Department vide their U.O.No.31264/424/A1/Expr.SW/2012, dated 31-12-2012.
