APRTC Bus fares to be hiked from 24 September 2012

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation – APSRTC Bus fares to be hiked from this Midnight to cover 350 crores  additional burden due to diesel prizes hike and excluding 50 crore of VAT. Vice-chairman and managing director AK Khan, Transport minister Botcha Satyanarayana met Kiran Kumar Reddy to get government clearance for the hike.

Different model buses will be charged differently:

Deluxe buses will be hiked 12 paisa per kilometre, Super luxury buses of APSRTC will be 14 paisa more per kilometre, Apsrtc ordinary bus will be hiked 5 paisa per kilometre. Express bus will be hiked 10 paisa.

VENNALA A/c,  GARUDA PLUS,GARUDA,INDRA bus fares will not be hiked this time.

General Bus Pass will be charged 100 more and Students bus Passes will not be hiked.
