Andhra Pradesh Electrical Inspectorate Service Rules – Amendment


The Chief Electrical Inspector to Government has submitted a proposal for creation of one post of Chief Accounts and Audit Officer in the O/o CEIG, Hyderabad and to amend the Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.200, EFES&T (Ser.I) Deptt., dt. 07.08.1990 for including the post of Chief Accounts and Audit Officer in Andhra Pradesh Electrical Inspectorate Service Rules.
2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Government have accorded sanction for creation of one post of Chief Accounts and Audit Officer in the Andhra Pradesh Electrical Inspectorate Service with scale of pay of Rs. 23650-49360.
Therefore, the Government after careful examination of the matter have decided to amend the Andhra Pradesh Electrical Inspectorate Service Rules suitably for including the post of Chief Accounts and Audit Officer in Electrical Inspectorate Service.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Electrical Inspectorate Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.200, EFES & T (Ser.I) Department, dated the 7th August, 1990 as subsequently amended.

AMENDMENTS

In the said rules;
(1) In rule 2, under the heading “Class-B” for the existing categories ie., “Category (1) – Accounts Officer and Category (2) Assistant Accounts Officer”, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
“ Category (1) : Chief Accounts and Audit Officer Category (2) : Accounts Officer Category (3) : Assistant Accounts Officer “

(2) In rule 3, in the Table, under the heading “Class-B”, for the existing entries in Columns (1) and (2), the following shall be substituted namely:-

“ (1) (2) 1) Chief Accounts and : By promotion from category
Audit Officer (2) of Class -B.

2) Accounts Officer : By promotion from category (3) of Class – B.

3) Assistant Accounts : (i)By appointment by transfer of Officer Superintendents in the Andhra Pradesh Ministerial Services in the Electrical Inspectorate Department.

(ii) By direct recruitment in the event of non-availability of candidates by appointment by transfer.”
