26 Crores for New Scheme in Fisheries Development 3


Commissioner of Fisheries has furnished proposals for implementation of New Scheme “Fisheries Development” with an objective to improve productivity, reduce post harvest losses, increase livelihood support and welfare of Fishermen in capture and culture of fisheries. which includes project infrastructure Schemes, beneficiary oriented Schemes/Programs, community assets and program for assisting fisher women as well as Tribal engaged in fishing (Chenchus & Yanadis) have been included and furnished component wise details for implementing of the Scheme.

Government requested the Commissioner of Fisheries to furnish revised proposals in respect of certain components as mentioned therein.  In the reference 5th read above, the Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P., Hyderabad has furnished the revised proposals for implementation of the New Scheme “Fisheries Development” with operational guidelines for implementation of the components of the said scheme and requested the Government to issue orders.

After detailed examination of the proposal, Government hereby accord administrative approval for implementing the New Scheme “Fisheries Development” during the year 2013-14, component wise as detailed below:-

The operational guidelines for implementation of the components of the scheme “Fisheries Development” as shown under column (2) of the Statement in para (3) above, is appended as Annexure to this order.

The Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P., Hyderabad is requested to take necessary action in the matter, accordingly.

This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.AHF) Dept. vide their U.O. No.003720/25/A1/Expr.AHFFCS&E/2013, dated 21.02.2013 and Planning Department. Vide their U.O.No.7189/Plg.XVIII/2013, dated 17.09.2013.

Commissioner of Fisheries, among other things, has furnished revised proposal for implementation of New Scheme “Fisheries Development” with operational guidelines for implementation of the components of the said scheme and requested the Government to issue B.R.O. for an amount of Rs.5374.50 lakhs for implementation of the scheme. This Department supported the proposal and referred to Finance Department for issue of B.R.O.

The Finance Department have issued B.R.O. for an amount of Rs.26,33,65,000/- (Rupees Twenty Six Crores Thirty Three Lakhs Sixty Five Thousand only) Plan from B.E. 2013-14 to the Commissioner of Fisheries, Hyderabad, towards “Development Fisheries through the reference 6th read above.

orders were issued according administrative approval for implementing the New Scheme “Fisheries Development” during the year 2013-14, component wise as detailed therein.

In pursuance of the Budget Release Orders issued by the Finance (Expr.AHFFCS&E) Department, Government hereby accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.26,33,65,000/- (Rupees Twenty Six Crores Thirty Three Lakhs Sixty Five Thousands only) Plan from the BE Provision 2013-14 towards Development of Fisheries, to the Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P., Hyderabad.

The amount sanctioned in para (4) above, shall be debited to the following Head Account:

The Procedure for drawal of funds sanctioned in para (4) and as detailed in para (5) above is Grants-in-aid bill and the Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P., Hyderabad shall be  Drawing Officer.

The amount released for a particular scheme should not be diverted to any other schemes, and shall be utilized for the purpose for which it is sanctioned, following the due procedure and accounts render to Audit.

The Commissioner of Fisheries, A.P., Hyderabad is requested to take necessary action in the matter, immediately.
