Recruitment of 162 Posts in APCO Handloom Weavers
Government have accorded permission to the Director of Handlooms & Textiles and Development Commissioner for Apparel Export Parks, Hyderabad for fixing the cadre strength of APCO as 756 duly effecting the changes in staffing pattern and also to fill up the resultant vacancies as mentioned therein. Accordingly, he has approved the revised staffing pattern and permitted the VC&MD, APCO, Hyderabad to fill up the resultant vacancies from time to time duly following the procedure
The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Limited (APCO), Hyderabad has requested the Government to accord permission for fresh recruitment in the vacancies arising out of retirements within the approved cadre strength of the Government in various cadres mentioned therein, in the best interest of the organization in general and handlooms weavers in particular, in order to meet the needs of primary weavers co- operative societies in procurement of handloom cloth and for smooth running of administration of APCO.
The Government AP after examination of the matter, accord permission to the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APCO, Hyderabad for filling up of the following one hundred and sixty two (162) vacant posts in the Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Limited (APCO), Hyderabad by Direct Recruitment through Selection Committee, duly following a transparent recruitment procedure, Rule of Reservation and following the provisions of the Service Rules to the relevant posts:-
Government hereby constitute the selection committee for recruitment of 162 vacancies in the APCO, with the following members:-
1. Director of Handlooms & Textiles and Apparel Export Parks/Functional Registrar of the Weavers Co-operative Societies – Chairman.
2. Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APCO. – Member-Convener
3. Deputy Secretary to Government Ind. & Com. (Tex) Dept. – Member
The Selection Committee shall ensure that the entire recruitment process should be completed within a period of two months.
The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APCO and the Member- Convener of the Selection Committee shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
