The Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has submitted proposals for establishment of Government School of Nursing at Govt. General Hospital, Nizamabad and to start General Nursing and Midwifery Course with an intake capacity of 60 seats. He has stated that Government General Hospital, Nizamabad is having 500 bed capacity and the area available for establishment of Nursing School and Hostel is 78856.00 Sq.ft is available at GGH, Nizamabad. This site is enough for starting School of Nursing at Nizamabad. The DME has therefore requested the Government to issue Essentiality Certificate/No Objection Certificate for starting new Govt. School of Nursing at Govt.General Hospital, Nizamabad.
After examination of the matter, Government hereby issue Essentiality Certificate / No objection Certificate for establishment Govt. School of Nursing in the premises of Govt.General Hospital, Nizamabad and to start General Nursing & Midwifery Course with an intake capacity of 60 (Sixty) seats from the academic year 2013-14.
The Director of Medical Education / The Superintendent,Government General Hospital, Nizamabad shall take expeditious steps to create all the necessary Physical and clinical infrastructure, positioning of both teaching and non-teaching staff (either by creation or by re-deployment) to ensure that institute is in full shape in accordance with APNMC / INC norms, before taking up admissions from the academic year 2013-14.
The Director of Medical Education shall take necessary action to approach Nursing Council of India /A.P.Nursing Council for obtaining needed approvals for the Govt School of Nursing at Govt.General Hospital, Nizamabad HEALTH, MEDICAL & FAMILY WELFARE (K1) DEPARTMENT
