Telangana Nurses Midwives Auxiliary Nursing


In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Nurses, Midwives, Auxiliary, Nurse-Midwives and Health visitors (Act No.III of 1926) as amended by Act No.5 of 1964 and adapted to the State of Telangana with certain modifications, the Government of Telangana hereby constitute the Telangana State
Nurses Midwives Auxiliary Nursing-Midwives and Health Visitors Council with immediate effect with the following Ex-Officio Members:-

(a) The Director of Medical Education, Telangana Hyderabad;
(b) The Director of Health and Family Welfare, Telangana or his representative;
(c) The Deputy Director of Nursing O/o Director of Medical Education, Telangana Hyderabad;
(d) The Nursing Superintendent, Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad;
(e) The Nursing Superintendent, Government General Hospital, Warangal;
(f) The Superintendent, Government Maternity Hospital, Hyderabad

The Andhra Pradesh Nurses Midwives Auxiliary Nursing – Midwives and Health Visitors Council was constituted under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Nurses Midwives Auxiliary Nursing-Midwives and Health Visitors Act, 1926 (Act No.III of 1926) as amended by Act 5 of 1964 and the rules made thereunder.

The Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014 (Central Act. No.6 of 2014), come into force with effect from 02.06.2014. 3. By virtue of Section 101of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization act 2014, the Andhra Pradesh Nurses Midwives Auxiliary Nursing – Midwives and Health Visitors Act, 1926 (Act No.III of 1926), as amended by Act No.5 of 1964 and the rules made thereunder in G.O.Ms.No.252, Health, Housing and Municipal Administration Department, dated 27.02.1969, has been adapted in the State of Telangana vide G.O.Ms.No.80, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (F1) Department, dt.26.09.2015 with certain modifications. 4. Now, therefore, the Government of Telangana hereby decided to constitute the Telangana Nurses Midwives Auxiliary Nursing-Midwives and Health Visitors Council in accordance with the adapted Act. 5. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extraordinary issue of the Telangana Gazette dt 03.12.2015

The Commissioner, Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchases (with a request to publish the Notification in the Telangana Gazette and send 100 copies of the Telugu and English versions of the Notification to Government)
