Telangana Micro Irrigation Component prices and Crop wise unit costs


Government of India have formulated the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA) for enhancing agricultural productivity especially in rainfed areas focusing on integrated farming, water use efficiency, soil health management and synergizing resource conservation.

2. As per the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA) Operational Guidelines, the State Standing Technical Committee (SSTC) has been constituted vide G.O.Ms.No.10, A&C (Horti. & Seri.) Department, dated.12.08.2014, for planning, implementation and monitoring of various components.

3. The Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana State in his letter 2nd read above has stated that the CEOs and State Coordinators of Micro Irrigation Companies have requested for revision of Micro Irrigation component prices due to huge increase in raw material prices, since 2006 and expressed their inability for supply of Micro Irrigation Systems with existing prices.

4. The Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana, Hyderabad vide references 4th , 5th and 7th read above has examined the representations of TSMIP Companies Committee, and furnished revised proposals for revision of MI Component prices and Crop Wise Unit costs approved in State Standing Technical Committee (SSTC), for approval.

5. The Group of Secretaries vide reference 9th read above, has agreed with the recommendation of the Technical Committee for revision of the prices of Micro Irrigation Components. The Group of Secretaries has suggested to review the prices annually hereafter and as per the NMSA guidelines issued by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.

6. The Government after careful examination hereby revise the prices of Micro Irrigation Components and Crop Wise Unit costs approved in State Standing Technical Committee (SSTC), on the existing erstwhile APMIP prices, mentioned in the Annexure-I & Annexure-II enclosed to this order for the year 2014-15, for implementation of the OFWM under NMSA in the State.

7. The Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana, Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the matter accordingly.
