General Holiday in Telangana on 19 August 2014 for Intensive Household Survey 2


Government have issued orders appointing Special Officers to supervise various activities to be taken up from 14.8.2014 to 6.9.2014 before and after, during the survey scheduled for 19.8.2014, to conduct an ‘Intensive Household Survey’, covering all the households in the Telangana State for creating a reliable and accurate database in order to facilitate effective implementation of various Government programmes and to ensure that the benefits reach the eligible deserving people. In this regard, instructions were already issued to all the Collectors for completing the training programmes and preparatory works and the formats for the survey were already finalized by Department of Planning and Department of Rural Development.

Accordingly, the following Notification shall be published in the extraordinary issue of Telangana Gazette dated:13-08-2014.

NOTIFICATION

The following Special Officers are hereby appointed to supervise various activities to be taken up from 14.8.2014 to 6.9.2014 before and after, during the ‘Intensive Household Survey’ scheduled for 19.8.2014:

The Government of Telangana with G.O.RT.NO.360 DATED: 11 August 2014 hereby order that 19.08.2014 (Tuesday) shall be General Holiday to the Government Offices/Schools/Colleges including Banks under Negotiable Instruments Act located in Telangana State including GHMC area in connection with Intensive Household Survey.

The following Notification will be published in an extraordinary issue of Telangana State Gazette.

HOLIDAYS – General Holiday for all the Government Offices, under the Negotiable Instruments Act on 19.08.2014 (Tuesday) in connection with Intensive Household Survey throughout the Telangana State, including the GHMC area – Notification – Issued.

    GO 360 specifies general holiday to government offices/schools/collages and banks under negotiable act…how does it apply for private establishments. people working in private firms are left to the mercy of their respective management.

    I think its a very good idea. It will help mainly to reduce crimes in city if the Officials are
    rest assured their job sincerely. The well plan and execution will build strong confidence on
    Government.
