Biennial Elections to Local Authorities Constituencies for Telangana Legislative Council to be held on 27.12.2015 – Allocation of funds to the District Election Officers & Collectors Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Khammam for conduct of elections.

G O.Ms. No.446, General Administration December 2015 The following notification is published in an extraordinary issue of the Telangana Gazette, dated the 2nd December, 2015 / Agrahayana 11, 1937 WHEREAS, 12 (twelve) seats in the Legislative Council of Telangana from Local Authorities’ Constituencies are lying vacant as per details given in Table below:

From the Election Commission Of India Press Note  ECI/65/2015,Dated:24.11.2015 G.O.Rt.No.3535, Finance (EBS- I) Dept.,dt:11-12-2015. In pursuance of the orders issued for release of an amount of Rs.4,50,000-00 (Rupees  Four  lakhs fifty thousand only)  to meet out of pocket expenses to staff and miscellaneous  expenses at  Head Quarters i.e.,  o/o  Chief Electoral Officer, G.A. (Elections) Department in connection with  conduct of the Biennial Elections to the Telangana Legislative Council for 12 Local Authorities Constituencies in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Warangal and Khammam in relaxation of Treasury Control and Quarterly Regulation orders, pending provision of funds by way of obtaining Supplementary Grants during the current financial year 2015-16, and kept at the disposal of General Administration (Claims.C/Elections.C) Department as detailed below:

“2015 Elections – M.H. 106 Charges for conduct of Elections to State Legislature  S.H (05) Legislative Council

 130 Office Expenses / 132 Other Office Expenses” — Rs. 4,50,000-00

 The amount sanctioned in para 1 above is hereby permitted to draw in A.C. Bill under Article 99 of A.P. Financial Code Vol.I to meet the expenditure for payment of pocket expenses to the Officers and the members of the Staff working in the Elections Branch from 24.11.2015 to 30.12.2015 in cash and also to meet the day to day miscellaneous contingent expenditure in the Head Quarters. The General Administration (Claims.C) Department are authorized to draw and disburse the amount to Smt. Ch. Kamala Kumari, Section Officer, General Administration (Elections.B) Department A/c No.52088462195, State Bank of Hyderabad, Secretariat Branch, Hyderabad for disbursement to the officers and the members of the staff of the Election Branch.

The amount drawn on A.C. Bill is subject to submission of detailed bill of the expenditure within a period of one month from the date of drawl.

The District Treasury Officers of Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Khammam are requested to admit the bills in audit to the extent of funds now sanctioned and released in relaxation of treasury control.

The District Election Officers Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Khammam are instructed to observe utmost economy in expenditure and ensure that there is no lapse of funds by closely monitoring the incurring of expenditure.

This order issued with the concurrence of Finance (EBS-I) Department U.O.No.759/538/EBS.I/A1/15 dt.11.12.2015.
