Mahabubnagar Municipal Limits Enlarged with 10 Panchayats
The Commissioner, Mahaboobnagar Municipality is directed to place the following Notification before the Municipal Council of Mahaboobnagar for its views / suggestions besides giving wide publicity to the Notification as contemplated in rule 11 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into wards) Rules, 1994 issued vide reference first read above.
The Collector & District Magistrate, Mahaboobnagar District is directed to affix the appended Notification on the notice board to give an opportunity to make suggestions about the division of the Municipality into wards.
NOTIFICATION
Under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act 6 of 1965) read with rule 11 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into wards) Rules, 1994 issued in G.O.Ms.No.31 MA, dated 03.02.1995 and after due consideration of the proposals submitted by the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P. Hyderabad, the Government hereby provisionally notify the delimitation of forty one (41) wards of Mahaboobnagar Municipality as per the Schedule appended to this Notification
The Municipal Council, Mahaboobnagar is informed that it shall submit its views or suggestions, if any, on the proposed draft delimitation of wards notified, within 7 days of the publication of this Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette to the Commissioner, Mahaboobnagar Municipality.

Mahabubnagar Town Municipality will look Like This:
The Mahabubnagar Municipal Council vide its C.R.No.01/2012, dated 04.04.2012 has accepted the proposal for inclusion of the above Gram Panchayats into the limits ofMahabubnagarMunicipality, since, no views / objections were received from the public of concerned Gram Panchayats.
Government in Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department have de-notified the above said ten (10) Gram Panchayats of Mahabubnagar District for their merger into Mahabubnagar Municipality.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-section (1A) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act 6 of 1965) read with clause (vi) of rule 5 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (inclusion or exclusion of the areas into/from the limits of Municipalities/Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 2006 issued in G.O.Ms.No.63, M.A. & U.D. (Elec.II) Department, dated 18.2.2006, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby alters the limits of the Mahabubnagar Municipality by including the following areas of the erstwhile Gram Panchayats of Mahabubnagar District therein with immediate effect:- Bandmeedipally, Doddalonipally, Timmasanipally, Palakonda, Christianpally, Chinadarpall,Yenugonda, Appanapally, Boyapally and Yedira.
Government is planning 41 or 42 wards in Mahabubnagar municipality. Town wards will be expanded in area and decreased in ward number.
