Fixation of Fee structure for Under-Graduate Engineering courses


Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) in the reference the Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued orders notifying tuition fees for Engineering and Pharmacy courses in Private Un-aided Professional Institutions for the academic year 2012-13 vide reference.Aggrieved by the said fixation made by Government, some of the Pharmacy Institutions have approached the Hon’ble A.P. High Court seeking to revise the tuition fees.

The Hon’ble A.P. High Court in its interim orders passed in W.P.No. 34062, 34193, 34028, 34269, 34301, 34325 and 34216/2012 directed the AFRC to revise the fees to Rs.94,100/- in respect for Pharm-D course for (16) colleges and to Rs.50,200/- for B.Arch. course in respect of Deccan School of Planning & Architecture, Hyderabad.

In compliance of the directions of the Hon’ble A.P. High Court the Member Secretary, AFRC in the reference 7th read above, has submitted the recommendations of AFRC to Government for notification of fee in respect of said (16) colleges for Pharma-D and one college for B.Arch. courses

Government after careful examination of the entire matter, hereby issue the following amendment to G.O.Rt.No.639, Higher Education (EC.1) Department, dt: 25.08.2012.
