CBI Investigation on Samruddha Jeevan Cooperative Society Ltd 1


Joint Secretary (Coop.) & Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Govt. of India, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi has stated that under section 108 of the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002, the inspection into the affairs of Samruddha Jeevan Multi State Multi Purpose Cooperative Society has been conducted and the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Uttarakhand has forwarded the inspection report of Assistant Registrar, O/o. the RCS, Almora, Uttarakhand which reveals serious financial irregularities. As they have a criminal angle, the issue was referred to CBI for investigation and requested the State Governments to publish that the Government of India has ordered CBI inquiry against the affairs of the above society and therefore, the members/depositors are advised not to have any further financial dealing with the Samruddha Jeevan Multi State Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra.

Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has  stated that all District Cooperative Officers in the State have been instructed to identify whether there are any branches of Samruddha Jeevan Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd., in their jurisdiction and cause to inquiry into the affairs of the branches and also requested to take necessary action to stop depositors/members from further financial dealing with Samruddha Jeevan Multi State Multi Purpose Cooperative Society. Further requested the Government to address the Printing & Stationery wing to publish the Gazette notification on the issue advising the depositors/members not to have any further financial dealing with Samruddha Jeevan Multi State Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra.

Accordingly, the following notification will be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dt:30-11-2015.

The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores purchase, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is requested  to arrange to supply (300)  copies  of  the  Notification  to  the

 

Government and 2,000 copies of the Notification to the Special Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.

NOTIFICATION

The Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Government of India has  informed that the Samruddha Jeevan Multi-State Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra was registered with area of operation confined to the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Goa, Jharkhand, Rajasthan & Himachal Pradesh. An inspection into the affairs of  Samruddha Jeevan Multi-State Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra has been conducted and the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Uttarakhand, vide letter dated 05.11.2014 has forwarded the inspection report of Assistant Registrar, O/o. the RCS, Almora, Uttarakhand dt: 13.10.2014 under section 108 of the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002, which reveals serious financial irregularities. As they have criminal angle, the issue was referred to CBI for investigation.

The Government of India has ordered CBI inquiry against the affairs of the above society and therefore the depositors are advised not to have any further financial dealing with Samruddha Jeevan Multi-State Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra. Hence, the depositors/members of Samruddha Jeevan Multi-State Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd. are hereby advised to stop further financial dealing with the society.
