Bengalgram seed under subsidy during Rabi 2012-13

The Commissioner & Director, Agriculture, Hyderabad has informed that in  the Rabi season 2012-13, 3.51 lakh quintals of Bengalgram seed is required for distribution to the farmers and APSSDC has own stock of 72,000 quintals. He has also informed  that  in  compliance  of  government  orders, tenders  were floated for remaining quantity of Bengal gram seed for distribution during Rabi 2012-13 and the tenders were finalized and requested to issue  orders  for  approval  of  procurement  price,  sale  price  and proposed subsidy pattern for the same.

The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, A.P. Co-op Oilseeds Growers Federation Ltd , Hyderabad informed that they have a stock of certified JG-11 variety Bengalgram seed at 60,000 quintals and ready to supply the same as per tender rates.

Government after careful examination hereby permit the C & DA to procure the required quantity of Bengalgram seed from APSSDC / AP.OILFED and the remaining quantity from seed suppliers with the following subsidy pattern for Rabi 2012-13:
