Reconstitution of the Pamidi Mandal Praja Parishad Anantapur District


Government  have denotified the Gram Panchayat, Pamidi for upgradation as Nagar Panchayat and upgraded the Gram Panchayat Pamidi as Pamidi Nagar Panchayat.

The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, Hyderabad, in his letter has informed that as per the report of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Praja Parishad, Anantapur, the Mandal Praja Parishad, Pamidi was having fourteen (14) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies. After upgraded the Pamidi Gram Panchayat into Pamidi Nagara Panchayat Pamidi Mandal Praja Parishad has lost six (6) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies out of fourteen (14) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies.   Therefore, he has requested the Government to reconstitute Pamidi Mandal Praja Parishad.

Government   after   careful   consideration   have   decided   to reconstitute the Pamidi Mandal Praja Parishad with the remaining eight (8) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies
